The second joint seminar of the FORWARD’27 and eALLIANCE brought together experts in autonomous mobility, artificial intelligence, and machine building industry to Tampere. During the afternoon, participants heard presentations on the future vision of the automotive industry and the lessons it offers for work machine development, AI-based navigation, and the international success story of Starship delivery robots. The program also included thematic discussions on sensor technologies and their analysis with AI, as well as on the outlook for the defense industry in the development of autonomous machines.

The afternoon provided an excellent overview of the direction in which the field is evolving—and the opportunities it opens for industry, service robotics, and defense.

The discussions highlighted how rapidly autonomous solutions are advancing—and how important it is to combine research, industry, and practical experimentation.
