EUREKA funded ROBOT BOX -project focuses on smart manufacturing solutions

The ROBOT BOX project is an international project (Smart Eureka) that aims to develop two main results:

  • an adaptive multi-discipline optimization (MDO) for welding and additive manufacturing preparation
  • a plug-and-play, agile, flexible, open-source and rapidly reconfigurable manufacturing control system.

The project is coordinated by Tampere University, MASYRE Research group, Prof. Eric Coatanéa.

Duration: 01.03.2025- 28.02.2028

Funding: Business Finland
